Things you might want to know about me.
I am mostly a self taught artist, even though I attended workshops in and outside of my country, I read countless books and followed many courses (Schoolism, Gnomon and many others).
I’ve been working in the industry for a few years as a freelance artist, from outsourcing studios such as VOLTA and KARAKTER to various publishing studios.
I’m currently working as a full time freelancer for MATERIA Design Studio.
Me on a hike.
I derive an immense amount of joy from creating. To me it’s like problem solving, only you get to create the problems to which you find solutions.
I sing, write songs and produce them, currently working on my first album. I’m also a gamer, I really enjoy the competitive side of gaming because I like to compete, but I love the creative side of it too; I find an endless source of inspiration in great wordlbuilding, whether in “serious” action-role playing games, narrative driven adventures or whimsical platformers.
I’m also obsessed with understanding storytelling and what makes a story and its characters work, why they resonate with us and how to accomplish the extremely difficult task of creating them.
I watch a lot of movies, don’t read as much as I’d like to but listen to many audiobooks a year: I’m very passionate about sociology, psychology, religions and neuroscience.
When I’m not staring at a screen drawing, painting, recording or gaming I’m probably working out, either in the gym, in calisthenics or in boxing.
I’m simultaneously somewhat introverted, in the sense that I’m extremely introspective and self-inquisitive, and very extroverted, since that’s what I mostly come off as, given the fact that I feel quite comfortable in social situations and I usually chat up random people just because I like it.
I love having conversations that lie a little outside of the expected and the comfortable, because I find that that’s where connections are made and ideas are best shared.
In parts agreeable by nature, at times disagreeable by choice.
