Tommaso La Torre

Growing up in Italy I encountered a few wannabe gangsters, most of them more bark than bite, all of them quite annoying to be around. Luckily I never bumped into any of the “real” ones, but in some cities they exist by the thousands and that’s very disturbing. They’re kids who kill, do drugs, steal and party, and that’s about it.

I tried to imagine one who wasn’t as nasty, and i tried to find a way to make him somewhat likeable.

23PM:

Tommy’s about to head to the club with the (baby) gang. Golden Deagle and MDMA make for an awesome Instagram story, he thinks.

02AM:

Tommy’s night has begun. He smoothly pops a bottle of his favorite vodka with his pocket machete; his friends surround him holding up their glasses, eager to get their fill. Shit’s about to get heated.

05AM:

Tommy’s balling. A couple brawls later, he boldly shows off his newly ‘acquired’ watches, proud of the trophies from tonight’s hunt. He’ll get a kebab and go to sleep with a smile on his face.
